Dear Smithtown Central School District Administration,

We, the students of Smithtown High School West, are writing to express our disappointment and frustration with the recent decision to involuntarily move Mr. Cone from his position as a teacher at our school.

Mr. Cone has been an integral part of our school community for many years. He has consistently demonstrated a passion for teaching and a dedication to their students that is unmatched. His ability to connect with students on a personal level has resulted in countless success stories, both academically and personally.

The decision to involuntarily move Mr. Cone was made without proper consideration of the impact it would have on our school community. Students who were looking forward to taking classes with him in future years are now left without that opportunity. Parents who trusted him as an educator are now left questioning the integrity of the school board.

We urge you, as members of the administration, to reconsider your decision and keep Mr. Cone at Smithtown West. We believe that this action will not only be beneficial for our school community but also demonstrate your commitment towards fair treatment towards all employees.
