Our local school's playing field, a vital resource for our children and community, is under threat. This green space is more than just a piece of land; it serves as a crucial part of our children's education, offering an outdoor classroom where physical health, teamwork, and lifelong skills are nurtured.

Currently, the playing field is at risk of being lost for the new ASN unit within Carrongrange high school. This could potentially strip our children of an essential component in their education. Studies have shown that outdoor play and activities not only improve physical fitness but also enhance mental well-being and cognitive development.

The loss of this field would mean that the kids would have no where to go on break times, there would be no more sports day or colour runs. 

We know that the ASN unit is very important to get built for the future kids but a different design so the school will actually have a decent field. 

We are calling on the local council and educational authorities to reconsider any plans for using all of moray primary’s field.
