Maypole Youth Centre plays an absolutely crucial role in supporting young people in Druids Heath & Monyhull and across South Birmingham.

It gives young people support, a place to go, and lots to do. Young people who use the Youth Centre are absolutely clear how important it is to them and it needs to stay.

As part of the the Council's budget cuts they're slashing the Youth Service budget, potentially meaning the end for Maypole Youth Centre. 

The part of Druids Heath where Maypole Youth Centre is, is one of the most left behind parts of the city, coming top of the Index of Multiple Deprivation in Birmingham.

There is already not enough for young people to do, or enough support for young people locally, without also losing Maypole Youth Centre.

Druids Heath has already lost so much, it can't also lose its Youth Centre, and one of the few remaining Youth Centres in South Birmingham.

As part of the Council's cuts to the Youth Service budget, they are going to review the Youth Service. We need to tell the Council loud and clear not to close Maypole Youth Centre!
