Celebrating 30 year - saying thanks to our fantastic BASC service staff!
As you may know, despite all of our efforts Manly West P&C has discontinued the BASC service and it has been outsourced to a commercial provider.
As a result, all of the wonderful BASC educators and management will end their employment there this term.
As part of the community that was made richer for the commitment, kindness, dedication and professionalism of the BASC educators, our group are trying to ensure they enjoy an appropriate send-off on 11 September 2026 at the Balgowlah Bowls Club.
To do this we need around $5,000 to book a function area, food and drinks for their farewell. We approached the P&C but a vote failed to secure funding..
If you can spare a few dollars to help make this happen, I think it would mean a lot to the staff, some of whom have worked at B.A.S.C for decades! - and are important driver's of our community.
(**If we raise more money than is required for the function, the group will buy staff a gift with the balance).
