Our mission is to save Lorenzo Walker Technical High School. We want to keep It open so it can benefit students all around collier county. Making the class of 2028 the last graduating class would be a grave mistake. 

Changing dual enrollment at Lorenzo to be for juniors and seniors at any Collier county high school would put students who do not have their own transportation at a significant disadvantage. 

Lorenzo Walker’s goal was never to be the same as every other high school. It was meant to be a group of 150 bright students every year united by their want for more for their life. Regardless of their Income, race, ethnicity, or where in Collier county they live. 

Due to the Logistics and nuances of this dual enrollment type, we believe that it will decrease opportunity. We believe that the high school should remain open while opening opportunities for dual enrollment as well.
