SAVE LA FE!!!!!

SAVE LA FE!!!!!
The Issue
HELLO HELLO ALL AND LISTEN UP!!
We’re writing as regulars, neighbors, and people who have spent real time inside La Fe.
This place has only been open for three years, but somehow it’s become one of those rare spaces that actually feels like it belongs to the people who walk into itt.
Not just a bar, something closer to a living room for the neighborhood!
You go there on a first date. You bring your friends from out of town. You end up staying longer than you meant to because you run into someone you know, or someone you didn’t know five minutes ago. It’s the kind of place that quietly becomes part of your life without you realizing it.
And that doesn’t happen by accident.
The staff have built that feeling. They’ve made people feel welcome in a way that’s genuine, not transactional. There’s care there. There’s intention. It feels like being let into something, not sold something. (which as you know is a refreshing change of pace here in LA)
so it’s hard not to ask.. what happens to a neighborhood when spaces like this disappear? Where do those moments go?? where do the people go?
We understand that leases end and things change. But this feels like more than just turnover. It feels like losing something that took time, energy, and real human connection to build!
We’re asking, simply, if there is any room to reconsider, whether by the landlord or the incoming tenant, before something irreplaceable is lost.
If there is any way to preserve what’s been created here, or to give it a chance to continue.
Because places like La Fe don’t just reopen somewhere else. They don’t get replaced easily. And once they’re gone, you feel it.
We don’t need a fine dining space, we just need La Fe.
