The Issue

We, the undersigned unit owners of Kohina at Ho'Opili, respectfully petition the Board of Directors to: 

  1. Terminate the management agreement with Hawaiiana Management Company, Ltd., effective at the earliest opportunity permitted under the agreement and HRS 514B-135.
  2. Engage a new property management company through a competitive proposal process. 

We make this request based on a 28-month financial analysis showing $122,029 in charges above the base management fee, documented contract compliance concerns, and the availability of management proposals offering potential savings of $33,000-$60,000 annually for our community. 

This petition is submitted pursuant to our rights as unit Owners under HRS Chapter 514B and the Association's governing documents.
