The School pool is a vital facility for the village and surrounding villages of Kings Langley.

The pool at Kings Langley is in use constantly serving over 1000 children per week. The School, as well as others including the local primary school, use the pool and provides local children with a great life skill.

40 dedicated members of staff will lose their jobs.

The lessons that are held here differ from the leisure centres and are worth saving, nobody wants to join a waiting list only to get a lesson packed full of children in the centre of town.

The closure will take place in 2-3 years time when the school is rebuilt.

I am writing to you to ask if there is any way Kings Langley School Swimming Pool can remain open during and after the planned redevelopment work takes place. The School pool is a valuable asset to the school and the local community. Over 1000 adults and children use the pool on a weekly basis, if this pool closes where can they go to learn to swim or exercise?
Swimming is an important life skill, it is not just a sport but a life saving skill.
