Save "Jump The Moon"! Enrich Logan lives!

The Issue

Jump The Moon is a disability-friendly art studio that is under threat of urban development! Save a treasured rarity of enrichment and sign my petition! Jump The Moon is visited by many locals and has been interviewed by ABC, FOX13 and has helped boost the confidence of countless physically and mentally disabled people in Logan, Utah by offering an artistic outlet and mental enrichment in ways that the average person takes for granted.

If JTM goes away, Loganites with Disabilities mental and physical lose one of their favorite places to make art pieces in a way that acknowledges their disability instead of treating it like a hurdle. Mike Bingham, the owner of the studio, will also likely lose his dream of making a studio specific to the needs of disabled people and those less financially stable. However, if the studio stays, those same people get enjoyment out of something that would otherwise be unavailable to disabled people due to travel or money limitations.

JTM has two weeks to come up with the money or risk going under, meaning those of us in wheelchairs or alternative communicative needs will need to either find other ways to get much needed social interaction and fellowship or just stay home, which has proven by mental health professionals to be unhelpful for mental health. Please sign this petition so this doesn't happen and we can continue to enjoy an art studio that gives us what the mental boost we all deserve!
