When Carrie and Pierre took over operating John’s Cracker Barrel in the Shark River Hills section of Neptune, they developed and refine the space into a true community space.

From fundraisers supporting our neighbors, to giving a space for local musicians to play, and curating an incredible menu served all day, they developed a place for neighbors to meet and gather, to grieve and celebrate. The feeling of community cannot be understated. Last year they elevated their offering with a true coffee experience. Most recently their addition of Evvie’s Ice Cream Shack and it’s beautiful mural really took things to a new level. 

It is Pierre, Carrie and Adam’s vision and commitment to community that created this. To know they must close their doors due to a rent hike from the buildings owner is so hard to accept. 

My goal of this petition is to gather as many signatures of supporters as I can, to deliver it to the building owner to illustrate just how many people in this town LOVE this business, its people, and the community experience that they created, and how much they hope for a second chance.
