The Issue

Hyper Dash is one of the most competitive and beloved multiplayer shooters on Meta Quest, with an active league scene, dedicated tournament organizers, and a passionate community of content creators and players. Meta has announced the game's servers will be shut down due to maintenance costs  effectively ending the game for everyone who plays it.

We're asking Meta and Mark Zuckerberg to consider one of the following instead of a full shutdown:

Keep matchmaking servers online, even at reduced capacity.

Release dedicated server software so the community can self-host.

Open-source the server code if Meta no longer wants to maintain it.

Sell or license the game to a studio willing to continue development.

Hyper Dash showcases what Quest hardware can do competitively, and its community has shown it's willing to organize, moderate, and grow the game without needing full studio-level investment. We're asking Meta to give the community a path to keep it alive, rather than closing the door entirely.

If you've played Hyper Dash, competed in its leagues, created content for it, or just believe in supporting VR gaming communities please sign and share.

Open-source the server code if Meta no longer wants to maintain it.
