Petition updateSave Historical Sequoia Tree in Richmond BCAnother weekend update

Hello there!  Hope you all had a good weekend (and did not get into too much traffic at the cherry blossoms.)

Richmond News put out a story on the No Parking signs here. No one showed up on Friday (as far as we know) and the signs are still there, so we hope the work to look into options around the preservation of the tree will continue.

I did not have a chance to share these previously, but some children (presumably, as shown by the use of the universal pointy S, timeless in elementary schools) put up some messages in support of the tree. It's really nice to see people of all ages unite towards a common goal of preserving our little bit of neighborhood history.  (Unfortunately, someone took it upon themselves to remove these signs and throw them out, so there are also people of all ages who want the tree to come down. I really question what is so offensive about children's messages that someone would bother doing this, and I hope this person's life improves soon.)

Thank you all for your support!
