Hello to all 1,100+ of you!

For those of you who have not been by the tree recently, we have news.

Tonight, BC Hydro contractors quietly placed "no parking" signs for March 27 7am - 5pm, for the block surrounding the tree. We have no further information at this point in time. 

(Some neighbours did see some crews out the previous week looking at the site, but we do not know if it led to a decision one way or the other. They did place 4 stakes in a neighbouring yard, however.)

If you have the bandwidth tomorrow, please call stakeholders (City of Richmond, BC Hydro, etc) to advocate for our tree and find out what is going on!

(On a fun note, if you have not tried to hug the tree, literally, I strongly recommend it. Sequoias are surprisingly soft. Not as fuzzy as a dog, but still very soft.)
