SAVE HISTORIC ST. PAUL'S CHURCH

The Issue

We, the undersigned, support efforts to Save Historic St. Paul's Church on West Main Street in Franklin, TN.  The current Rector plans to build a two-story office building on the historic footprint of the church built in 1827, threatening the 150-year-old pecan tree planted in the courtyard and the Tiffany windows and undercroft.  Years ago, visionary church leaders purchased the First Tennessee Bank building behind the church for future growth.

Please share this petition with our community and contact the Board of Mayor and Alderman and the Franklin Planning Commission to let them know that St. Paul's is part of the history of our community and what St. Paul's does to itself endangers a major historic resource and heritage tourism which is a critically important component to Williamson County's highly successful economic development engine.
