Hi friends and neighbors! Unfortunately, we weren't able to save our bookstore. I sent a copy of the petition, news articles, and a message to the leasing agents requesting they reconsider their decisions as we've made it clear that we desperately wanted to keep Barnes and Noble. Unfortunately, I never received a reply.

Many of us have heard through the grapevine that B&N is hoping to relocate somewhere near/in Sumner County. I also sent them an email with the petition requesting that they relocate in Hendersonville as we don't currently have a bookstore and they're a staple of our community.

If folks feel compelled, I encourage others to email as well! The more voices we have to support our cause the better. It may not be in the same location, but we still have a voice to bring back a bookstore.

I am in awe of our community and how folks rallied around this bookstore. Many people generously donated to spread awareness. I'm sure the employees felt the love as they had to close early several days due to the support and demand. Thank you all for your support and rallying.
