The  devastating plans  of the Goole Town Deal Board are to tear up up the only 400 metres athletics  track in  East  Riding of Yorkshire and replace it with a terribly  poor substitute. If this damaging change goes through then  almost all athletes would be forced to travel around  20 miles to train on a 400 metre track. This would have damaging  implications for the club  which has  both nurtured and coached local children to a high standard for  many  years.
