With only 13 weeks left of this school year, Mr Walsh and the board of school governors for Gobowen Primary School have sent a letter to Gobowen All Rounders giving them notice of the tenancy by 31/08/2022.

It would be a massive blow to the families and community of Gobowen if All Rounders were forced to close. They provide excellent care and education to 2, 3 and 4 year olds. They support the children and their families. It is a central part of our community based in an environment that is ideally located and set up for its purpose. There are skeleton plans for the future but if we could reverse this decision it would save a lot of heartache and disruption for the children, families and staff.

Therefore the support of parents, families and the village is very important at this time.

A meeting is being held on Tuesday 3rd May at 7.30pm at Gobowen Working Mens' Club. The more people that can attend the better.

Alongside this we are signing a petition to show just how many people are against this decision. There will be paper copies available around the village too.
