When we first started this petition, our goal was to obtain 100 signatures before the community meeting tomorrow. We now have well over 500 signatures! This speaks strongly to how much people care about preserving our history and community's character. Attend the Community Meeting tomorrow (March 15th) at 7:30 pm at Cook Street Activity Centre (380 Cook St.) to show your support for preserving this building. Instead of demolishing it, ask that the developer convert it into retail and living space while preserving the exterior facade. Develop without destroying our community's character and history.
