Please sign this petition in support of the immediate removal of Dr. Jamel Wright, President of Eureka College; Board of Trustees Executive Officers, Beau Underwood, Chair; Clint Drury, Vice-Chair; Marylean H. Abney, Treasurer; and Harry Williams, Secretary.

Justification:  These five individuals are the most responsible for the current crisis at Eureka College:

-         increasing deficits

-         decreasing revenue

-         declining enrollment

-         retention and graduation rates well below national averages

-         significant loss of alumni donor and support

-         deteriorating facilities

-         invasion of endowment to fund operations

-         loss of key leadership personnel

-         no clear vision for the future of Eureka College.  

Eureka College has lost millions of dollars in the last three fiscal years with no end in sight to deficits. The downward spiral must be stopped.

New leadership is needed immediately. 

If change does not take place the college will close.

Losing Eureka College would be devastating for students, faculty, staff, alumni and the town of Eureka! 

A group of former board of trustee members, alumni, and friends of the college have developed strategies and plans to change the current trajectory. This group wants the college to not only survive. They want the college to thrive!
