Save Delhi's population from the uncontrollable pollution

Save Delhi's population from the uncontrollable pollution

The Issue

Respected Shri Vinay Kumar Saxena,

Greetings!!!

I am writing to you as a concerned citizen of Delhi, deeply troubled by the persistently hazardous levels of pollution that have been affecting our city and its residents. The deteriorating air quality in Delhi is not only a matter of grave concern but also a severe threat to public health and the environment. Despite tall promises every year the Chief minister Kejriwal has failed miserably in taking any concrete and effective measures to curb this pressing problem. The usual blame game on his part is just feeding the dragon that raises its head before every winter engulfing the city in toxic fumes and particulate matter leaving everyone breathless and sick.

We, the undersigned, humbly request your urgent attention and action to combat this crisis.

Delhi has consistently ranked among the most polluted cities globally, and the effects of this pollution have had far-reaching consequences on our lives. Increased incidents of respiratory diseases, heart problems, and a reduced quality of life are just a few of the distressing outcomes that Delhi's population is enduring. It's heart rending to see small babies and elderly sitting in OPDs of hospitals and private clinics coughing and wheezing.

We, the concerned citizens of Delhi, earnestly petition you and your organization to take the some concrete  actions to address the hazardous pollution levels. Implementing Odd Even, blaming the Parali burning , banning firecrackers on Diwali, and now ignition off when the red light haven't proven effective in improving air quality. Stringent enforcement of environmental regulations will have to be taken. We want to see the changes happening on ground rather than being proclaimed on self promoting posters all around the city.

We, the undersigned, believe that immediate and decisive action is required to rescue Delhi from the clutches of hazardous pollution. Our city deserves clean air, and its residents deserve a healthy and safe environment in which to live and thrive.

We kindly request a prompt response to this petition and your commitment to addressing the critical issue of pollution in Delhi. Together, we can work towards a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable future for our beloved city.

Thank you for your attention and dedication to the well-being of Delhi and its people.

Sincerely,

A Breathless Delhi Resident
