The announced closure of the Carluke Bank of Scotland branch is a blow to the community - and would mean the closure of the last remaining bank in Carluke.

Leaving Clydesdale’s largest town without banking facilities is not acceptable. This is a much valued branch, providing a vital service for residents and local businesses. 

MSP for Clydesdale Màiri McAllan has organised this petition to call on Bank of Scotland to think again. Alongside Angela Crawley MP and Councillor David Shearer, we are asking constituents to help show the strength of feeling in the community to retain this branch - and signatures from this petition will be presented to Bank of Scotland.
