Cara, our pet sheep, was today 3 April stolen from our property by two officers from the RSPCA. Someone (not a neighbour) had complained to them saying we were cruel as the sheep was injured. The RSPCA claimed he was in pain and they intend killing him. He is not in pain. A sheep that is in pain does not eat, or run around with other animals. The RSPCA officers are the people who are cruel. Cara was lying down as he has a siesta in the middle of the day which is when they came and because he wouldn't get up for them they started kicking him. They dragged him up,  tied a rope around his neck and were pulling on it, choking him. He was terrified and was trying to hang on to my brother.

The RSPCA officers admitted they did not know how to tell if an animal was in pain, yet claimed Cara was, and admitted they knew nothing about sheep. People like the two who "stole" our sheep should not be allowed to have anything to do with animals. How many people have been persecuted and harassed by the RSPCA because someone who had no real knowledge of the people or animal complained to the RSPCA who then took the animal away from the people who had not done anything wrong. They should not be allowed to investigate a complaint about an animal unless the complaint was made by an immediate neighbour of the person being complained about, ie next door, opposite or immediately behind. They should not be allowed to take an animal unless they know all about the particular type of animal and know how to treat them properly.

Help us save Cara. Help us get him back. This is urgent because the RSPCA could kill him at any time. Help us get restrictions put on the RSPCA so that other people and animals don't have to go through what we and our sheep CARA have had to. Cara was terrified, he will be greatly distressed and fretting. Animals that are stressed out or fretting often stop eating and die from starvation or even heart attacks. He is no ordinary sheep, he is special.
