Please sign this petition if you want Forestry England to repair the dams and leave the rest of the area and surrounding area alone. 

We don’t want the area turned into a tourist trap so Forestry England can benefit. We want the ponds left as they are with improvements to the dams.

Cannop ponds is a naturally beautiful place and we don’t want anything other than it being left alone.

yes the dams need maintenance but the rest of the site must keep its characteristics and not made to look unnatural and man made. 

we don’t want boardwalks and we don’t want platforms all we want is sympathetic repairs and the rest left as it is. That’s what makes it the special place it is today. 

Tourists welcome but commercialisation is not.
