Save Blue Jay Cinema!

-This is a collaborative petition from concerned citizens and the manager of the Blue Jay Cinema.  When you are done signing, Change.org may ask you for a donation to keep their platform running.  That money is not going to the Cinema, it is a part of Change.org and we can't turn it off!  We are not looking for monetary donations at this time.-

Our one and only local movie theater in the Lake Arrowhead and surrounding areas is at risk of being forced to close its doors as soon as June 1, 2023! The building is being purchased by developers who plan to open a discount grocery store outlet, eliminating the Blue Jay Cinema.
For many of us, the theater is one of the last nostalgic buildings of our childhood. Young kids attend showings with their families, high school students obtain first jobs, and a local cinema club provides an escape into the past. We need to support our local businesses that contribute to the community, not chain stores!

We are local citizens, asking other local citizens to support this effort in saving the Blue Jay Cinema. This petition will be shared with county officials, community organizers, and parties involved with the sale.

PLEASE SIGN and help us continue to provide needed entertainment to our community. It is critical that we make our position known NOW! Time is of the essence!
