Good evening, I’m an independent animator working on a fan webtoon based of the Bloons TD franchise by Ninja Kiwi. I contacted NK regarding this matter, but they stated that they cannot give me permission to create this as it would be a good way to loose their copyrights.

I have created my own original interpretation and adaptation of of the Bloons world, as well as original characters, story, plot points, music, animation, everything that is needed to make a web toon and so I feel that my work is a parody/falls under fair use and not too different from a major fan project. 

As a kid, I always dreamed of making something like this while playing Bloons td 5 and battles. Watching things like SJB’s Random Odd Series and more recently, the UltraJason Bloon’s shorts. What made those special was giving a story to a game that had none. Amazing lore and world building but plot or meaning. When you sign this petition, you are taking a step towards fulfilling that dream that I and so many other people had. To a darker, more mature, and serious take on the Bloons franchise. And you get a great web toon to watch as well 🗿

If all goes well, I will send this petition along with our signatures to NK and ask them to reconsider their decision . I’m willing to go non profit or send all funds to ninja kiwi, this project is driven by passion for their games.
