Due to North Ayrshire  Council  budget cuts our library  is threatened  with closure, this would be devastating  for our community, not only will we lose the library, but also the use of the building which is used for many other activities,  ie

Knitting  group/weekly

Book club/weekly 

Drop in and play /daily

Kids klub/daily

Chatterbox chat group

Lego club/Friday  and Saturday 

Digital first aid/weekly 

School holidays  events

Seed library 

Mindfulness  colouring/daily

Santa's grotto 

Memories  Scotland display and local history 

Holder of monumental  inscriptions

Class and nursery visits

Mindfulness  jigsaws/ daily

M P surgeries 

Mental health and  wellbeing  activities 

Host of helping  hands charity.

All of these groups which are well attended  will be lost, The mental health  and wellbeing  of the Beith  community  will suffer. For some these activities  are a lifeline, the only chance they get to socialise, it's local no transport  needed , please sign our petition  to save our community  library  🙏
