After decades of amazing service, BBC Local Radio is going to be so severely cut that it will be unable to function in a meaningful way. This takes the local out of the BBC & removes the right to a voice & support to local communities and individuals. 
A platform for local musicians, artists, writers & other creatives is being removed. Local experts, local societies, local input will be lost. 

This will impact local schools, clubs, societies, faith groups and so many people who rely on local radio for company, the opportunity to share an opinion and to offer or receive help and support.

It is a sign of the times that the BBC is falling into the trap that there is no longer such a thing as community. 
We really must get this decision reversed.
