I hope this letter finds you we'll. I'm writing to bring your attention towards "basai wetland". Basai wetland is recognized as a key biodiversity area as the IUCN and the WILDLIFE INSTITUTE OF INDIA. recognised globally as a important bird area by bird life international. 

Basai wetland houses 20,000 birds over 280 species including migratory and endangered birds and basai wetland is also a ramsar site. 

But basai wetland is getting destroyed and I have got information from the native people of that area that , they say that it's thier private land and they want to do farming on it and they write thier conditions to govt. And govt. Have removed all the water from the wetland which is a 250 acer area and all this is said by the people who live near the wetland. 

In the current scenario on 26th December 2024 , there is no water left in the wetland and it's totally dried off and wetland are the only hotspot left which support the huge biodiversity of flora and fauna. 

At last I only want to say that pls save this wetland ,these types  of hotspot areas are very important for environment. Where do these species go. Thier habitat is getting disappear day by day and we have to take action on it and save this wetland.
