Baltimore’s Classic Rock Station, 100.7 The Bay, owned by Times Shamrock, was recently sold to a Christian broadcasting company and K-LOVE.   Their format is a basically a satellite programming format, broadcasting religious content.

It came as a shock to not only The Bay’s listeners, but also all the employees of 100.7 The Bay.

Since this information became public, there has been an outpouring of support for the station.   And while we may not be able to “Save The Bay (100.7)” as we know it today, we can show our support.  Our  hope is that by showing demand, the radio personalities, employees, classic rock format, and content produced, can be resurrected somewhere else on Baltimore’s radio airwaves.   

This petition demonstrates such demand by Baltimore’s listening community.   Please support the cause.  Let’s “Save The Bay (100.7)” and continue Baltimore classic rock tradition.  Otherwise, it becomes another part of history.
