Currently if we see our surroundings Of Gadag district it's has very significant historical places. From this district Rona taluka has also historical place.

   Now Very few people know about the Savadi Village from Rona taluka District Gadag. As previous or ancient name of Savadi Village was (Sayyadi) this village is birth place of Great poet Durgasimha who was minister for war and peace during chalykas regime at Jayasimha 2 king and even durgasimha written panchtantra in Kannada. The Shri doddlingeshwar temple is Pooja place of Durgasimha poet.

  Now most of the people don't know about the durgasimha history and  birth place. Panchtantra are taught in schools so the children should know the panchtantra author life history as well because panchtantra was invented by Durgasimha.

 If durgasimha history, birth place knowledge is shared with children then it will be easy for them to understand the panchtantra and even the temple can be seen by many people.

The Shri doddlingeshwar temple premises as well as the Durgasimha place is getting vanished slowly as it's not preserved or conserved by government. If we won't act now the great history will be vanished which are future generations won't able to see.
