Save Abertridwr Library

The Issue

Abertridwr Library is a vital hub for the Aber Valley communities of Abertridwr and Senghenydd. People borrow books. Toddlers use the soft play area. ‘Knit and Chat’ meets. Kids do their homework. People of all ages use the computers – meet their friends. It’s the only place we have – and the same goes for the communities around all of the ten libraries and the three leisure centres under threat. We can't let them close – and there is no economic need for us to lose them! Caerphilly Council has reserves of £187m - the second largest in Wales. Let them dip into those reserves as a temporary measure to support our vital resources, while they demand the money we need from the Senedd. No Cuts! No Closures! Please sign our petition to help us save Abertridwr Library!
