Save 14 million lives by supporting USCARES
The Issue
I have spent my life preventing diseases and premature deaths, dedicating myself to saving as many people as possible through various medical and humanitarian efforts. However, the thought that 4.5 million children under the age of five, alongside millions of adults, could die from preventable causes by 2030 if USAID continues to be dismantled, is deeply distressing to me. It's causing me sleepless nights because this is worse than the Holocaust that claimed 6 million lives. But we can fix this! We don't need to rely solely on the government to make this change. Americans have proven time and again that we can come together to create impactful solutions to global challenges.
USAID has played a crucial role in providing humanitarian aid worldwide, but like many large organizations, it has faced challenges. Rather than restoring it with the same framework, we propose replacing it with a better, more efficient program: USCARES (United States Comprehensive prevention, Assistance, Reformation, and Empowerment Services). USCARES is designed to not only continue the lifesaving aid that USAID provided but to enhance it by incorporating preventative care and empowerment services, creating a sustainable path forward for countless communities, both here in America and around the world.
By establishing USCARES, we can effectively respond to humanitarian needs, promote health, and offer hope to underserved populations globally. The emphasis will be on comprehensive care—addressing emergencies today while equipping people with the tools to prevent similar crises in the future.
Independent global health researchers estimate that dismantling USAID without a proper replacement could result in more than 14 million preventable deaths by 2030, including 4.5 million deaths of children under five. This statistic is a clarion call for action. We cannot stand idle and allow these lives to slip away when we have the means to save them.
USCARES will prioritize effective distribution networks, transparent operations, and partnerships with local and international organizations. This actionable plan ensures aid reaches those who need it most, while empowering these communities through education and self-reliance.
Join us in this crucial effort. Sign this petition to show your support for USCARES, a new beginning for humanitarian aid that America can lead. Let's use our collective power to save lives and build healthier futures for millions. Every signature counts.
