Savannah State University students have spent thousands of dollars to pay to attend this school. With the recent outbreak of the corona virus that has now been deemed a pandemic by the CDC, Savannah State University has been shut down. They have asked students to move out by March 16th unless there is a valid reason or issue preventing them from doing so. With this in mind students have left campus and will not be returning for the semester since classes are now online. Since students are taking classes online from home, college students should be refunded for spring semester meal plans and room and board. It is not fair for students to pay for facilities they have no access to. The money returned can be used for next years tuition. Some people struggle to pay for college out of pocket as well as loans and it is unfair to these families and mine if this money is wasted.
