The mayor of the city of Rosemere closed and fired the entire fire department on Monday night. These fine men and women where thrown out with no explanation and no severance pay. Some have been serving the community for more than 20 years. All this without the consent of the citizens. The service was given to the neighboring town, for the next 20 years.
