Puppy-mills should not be allowed to sell dogs to pet stores in the Town of Hempstead

Puppy-mills should not be allowed to sell dogs to pet stores in the Town of Hempstead

The Issue

I would like to start this petition to stop pet stores in the Town of Hempstead, New York, from purchasing dogs from Puppy-mills. This has been an ongoing issue that not only takes place in my town but towns across America. I would like to get this petition to as many signatures as possible to end the suffering of the dogs in these Puppy-mill's and end the harm that these Puppy-mill's cause. With myself having first hand experience with this I feel very pationate about the cause. A puppy-mill is "establishment that breeds puppies for sale, typically on an intensive basis and in conditions regarded as inhumane." It is a place where "Profit is a priority!" and they have no regard for the dogs health or safety. The dogs rarely see sunlight and almost never have human contact. Dogs health and safety should be first proiority!! Please help me get as many signatures as possible so I can get this legislation passed!
