We want to keep the Natural Bob Tail Rottweiler on the Main Pedigree Register.

We want to keep the Natural Bob Tail Rottweiler on the Main Pedigree Register.
The issue
The Natural Bob Tail (NBT) Rottweiler has been synonymous since the beginning of the Breed and Life of the Rottweiler History, and is part of their Pedigree. They have been around since the beginning of the established Breed approx 1906.
We want to keep the NBT on the Main Register, which allows us to Register NBT Pups and also to be able to Show and Breed them.
The Rottweiler Clubs throughout Australia are trying to have the NBT removed as they say the NBT is deformed and not part of the German
Breed Standard, through lack of a TAIL. In other-words, if they had a tail, they would consider they are not deformed !!!!! I find this mystifying !!. The Rottweiler Clubs, are lobbing to have the NBT only registered on the Limited Register, which means we will not be able to Breed nor Show them.
If this legislation is passed, it means we will not be able to register NBT's on the Main Register, which means we will not be able to Breed nor Show them. This would be the end of the NBT linage of Rottweilers.
There is no mention in their Breed Standard by the A.D.R.K - Allgemeiner Deutscher Rottweiler-Klub e.V. (Germany) that the NBT is deformed.
Due to the fact that traditional docking has been done, most people never saw this Bob Tail as anything less but docked. It is not a freaky gene, it is in the BREED itself and if you do your homework on the history of the breed you will find them.
There is ofcourse the chance, that if passed about the NBT Rottweiler, it could have a Domino effect to other Bob Tail Breeds.
We the undersigned support the Petition of Natural Bob Tails to remain on the Main Register. In other words: they are still able to Breed & Show them.
This Petitioned has been approved by Dogs Queensland and will be submitted to the Annual A.N.K.C. (Australian National Kennel Council) meeting in October.
Please sign and help save this beautiful Breed of Natural Bob Tail Rottweilers.
