My name is Shamila Bryant. I am a hard-working resident of Fulton County GA and A mother to four Girls.  I am creating this Petition today to seek the help of my local congress and The FDIC to bring attention to the current battle for my Federal Funds from the IRS. for over 100 days my 2022 federal refund has been Knowingly released & held without proper reasoning by a business called The Santa Barbara Tax Product Group (SBTPG) located in Santa Barbara California. SBTPG is affiliated with TURBO TAX, Though Turbo Tax will take no blame in the Stolen refunds of Over thousands of Americans they are just as much to blame as Santa Barbara Tax Product Group Itself. As I’ve mentioned I have a 4 daughters, One with a Disability that needs care and services. Through the 100 days that SBTPG has held my Refund I’ve lost my car and my lease will be up in 3 weeks. My family and I have faced more economical impact , emotional and physical distress, displacement and more discomfort after these humiliating processing of events. I’ve Reached out to the Better Business Bureau and the reviews on this Business is absolutely atrocious. The fact that I’ve read over 100 complaints from Americans dating back over 4 years who have claimed to have thier money stolen as well is truly heartbreaking. We can create a change here, unfortunately those representatives that we call everyday and sit on that phone with for hours don’t care about our situation. Unfortunately, TURBO TAX does not care of our situation though we trusted in them to deliver our funds as promised. SANTA BARBARA TAX PRODUCT GROUP does not care of our situation as they continue to lie and redirect us everyday. I’ve created this petition because as of 08/09/2022 I have Had ENOUGH ! And if you are a part of this struggle and you have worked hard to maintain a living in this economy today and your peace of mind and your refund was stolen by TURBO TAX AND ITS AFFILIATES, I know you have had enough as well! We deserve our funds, we deserve to live in peace because when they took from us they didn’t just steal our means of living they stole our HOPE AS WELL. So,  Let’s Fight for what is Ours because if we don’t fight for us who will? Let’s bring attention to this issue so thousands of Americans can begin putting food back on our tables. Let’s Bring this attention to CONGRESS, THE IRS, THE NEWS, BIDEN , THE HEAD OF TURBO TAX, THE HEAD OF SANTA BARBARA TAX PRODUCT GROUP! Because someone needs to be held responsible someone needs to Give us our HOPE BACK. Please sign this petition !
