As parents of Sanger Unified School District students we believe in the individual right to decide the path in which to take to get our children back into the classroom for in person learning. We want the district to move forward with the hybrid option as to get closer to the end goal of our students back in the classrooms. The school sites have already proven their commitment to cleanliness and safety by running successful cohorts. The cohorts have provided an irreplaceable learning environment to students already struggling. These students are starting to thrive and every family deserves the same opportunity for an in person learning environment. Starting at the end of the current trimester allows students to have opportunity to finish strong. This allows a smooth transition to the begging of the following trimester and into the remainder of the school year. The goal of getting students back on campus has never changed. Now that the state has lifted closures, we can take the next step into moving forward with hybrid learning. Additional options have been provided by the district to continue distance learning for those who choose.
