I've not had a reply from Councillor Chris Tranter, as yet. Am wondering if the email address on his details is incorrect. Ideally I would like to get this petition up to 5,000 signatures before sending it on to the Council, so any further Shares would be welcome. At the present time the petition to change the name from Bell End has 100 signatures and the person who created the petition says he has written to residents and has received a good response. From the Members of my Facebook Group for Blackheath and Rowley Regis, which has many residents in the road and surrounding roads and my visit to St Giles, the parish Church, on Saturday, where a large group of us were doing Churchyard clearing, I would say the opposite is the case and no one I have spoken to from the road, or area, wants this historic name changed. Please Share this petition if you can, so help prevent this unwelcome, proposed change.
