As students at Hendersonville High School and lacrosse players we are asking for your support to add lacrosse as a school sport at HHS for the 2026-2027 school year. 

For years, Hendersonville lacrosse players have worked hard, stayed dedicated, and proudly represented our community without being recognized as an official school sport. We have the talent, passion, and commitment. We just need the opportunity to compete against other schools in Tennessee.

Lacrosse is one of the fastest-growing sports in the country, and HHS players deserve the same chance to represent our school the same as our student athlete peers. 

Students, parents, community leaders and supporters have been asking Sumner County Schools and school leadership to sanction lacrosse for years, but nothing has changed. Two senior classes have already graduated without this opportunity, and we can’t let a third class miss out.
