My name is Nicole Briar,

Some of you may know me, but if you don't I am a senior at Monte Vista High School.  As our district just got the news that we will be closing schools until the end of the year and cancelling graduation, I decided to make a petition to whoever it may please to postpone graduation for the class of 2020, as there is no intention as of now to do so. Many seniors, I included, just want to walk in front of our family, peers, and teachers and to graduate. No matter when. I would like to show our district and maybe our state how important graduation is for seniors. It's such a major step in our lives, that we all would like to have. So whether you are a student, family member or teacher, in our district or not, I would like you to sign this, so that maybe the class of 2020 can have this experience, whenever it may be.
