The San Jose Planning Commission approved the project on April 27. Two neighbors have appealed the Commission's decision, so it will now be heard by the Mayor and City Council on Tuesday, June 14th at 7 PM at City Hall, 200 E Santa Clara St, San Jose, CA 95112. Their decision will be FINAL. Concerned neighbors have met with the Mayor's staff and 9 out of 10 City Councilmembers or their staff. Our neighborhood representative said he would be voting against the project. We need to show the Mayor and the rest of the City Council that our neighborhood does not support the proposed project. Here is how: ATTEND THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING THIS TUESDAY. FILL OUT THE CARD TO SPEAK. IF PUBLIC SPEAKING MAKES YOU NERVOUS, SIMPLY SAY "I OPPOSE THIS PROJECT. THANK YOU." WE NEED TO SHOW THE MAYOR AND REST OF THE CITY COUNCIL THAT OUR COMMUNITY DOES NOT SUPPORT THE CURRENT PROJECT BY HAVING A BIG TURNOUT.
