In the photo attached, you can see a screen capture of an email sent by the Del Mar Fairgrounds regarding a lost payment. The payment was found, but this never made its way to anyone else at the facility, even though they are copied on the email.

Despite this, the facility illegally cancelled our event, claiming that no deposit had been received, no insurance certificate had been received, and went to the local media stating same.

Even through we provided the reporter with the proof of this email, plus our insurance certificate and documentation of second deposit made, the story that ran was this -

For two years we have attempted to have at the very least the 'zero payments' quote removed, as it was untrue. Same with the insurance statement.

The context of trying to make a last minute payment is completely false. We attempted to pay AGAIN, as it was claimed no payments had been made, even with documentation of payment, one of which was an email from them!

Shortly after this, as we dealt with the massive fallout, the Del Mar Fairgrounds announced their 'own' pet event.

We have been solicited by the Del Mar Fairgrounds twice. Once to participate their event, and once to hold our event there. See below:

Please help us with our demand that the San Diego Union Tribune remove this article. They have also allowed it to be syndicated across their entire news network.
