We, faculty, employees, and students of the San Diego Community College District, are desiring for physical classes to be cancelled IMMEDIATELY due to the threat of the Coronavirus (Covid-19). The virus is approaching and has become a real threat to our district and others surrounding. We are concerned for the safety of ourselves and for our peers. Especially, after the vast amount of travel that will be done in recent days due to our spring break upcoming. We do not want to put our health at risk. This is not a grand request, but as other Universities and colleges in our state and others surrounding take up the responsibility of preventing the spread of the virus, to postpone physical classes until the threat of the virus has been contained. The best alternative to continue our education with precaution is to transition to Online learning. Thank you and please take action today!
