Administrators at San Diego State University should have one unanimous goal in mind — safety. Yet, our music building (and other performing arts buildings) remains outdated, and frankly, falling apart. The event on November 16th, when a pipe ruptured in the basement, is one of many reasons we need modernized and updated facilities. 

This petition is to make the administration aware that we don’t need more soccer fields, stadiums, or healing gardens. We need a building that we feel safe in. A building that you don’t have to worry if transients are going to be in your practice room, or that you don’t need to worry about getting sick from mold. 

Help San Diego State University students share that irresponsible spending of funds and ignoring present problems is no longer acceptable.
