When we lay a loved one to rest, we always do our best to honor the deceased with an attractive looking headstone and burial plot. However, what was once as beautiful grave site can start to look neglected over time. Properly maintaining a grave site isn't something that requires a lot of time or effort, but if done on a fairly regular basis, will keep your loved one's memorial looking the way it did when they were first laid to rest. 

Mountain View Memorial Park AKA "Barstow Cemetery” is in desperate need of  landscaping repairs/renovations.  This property is located at 37067 Ft Irwin Rd., Barstow Ca. 92311 and serves as the sacred home for thousands of loved ones.

On this past Mother's Day  May 10, 2020 many residents and former residents went to pay respect to those mothers who have passed on by visiting their gravesite. While bringing beautiful flowers or cleaning the stone, most noticed the "dormant grass" throughout the park.

This property has the potential to once again be a beautiful venue of nostalgia and comfort, but unfortunately it has currently become run down and rapidly deteriorating.   

Please join in the effort to have the property owners fulfill their obligation and promise to maintain this cemetery to an acceptable standard.  Our family, friends and loved ones deserve better than this and those visiting deserve to be able to visit safely and peacefully.   
 
The Mt View Memorial Park Cemetery is under the jurisdiction of the LAFCO of San Bernardino with oversight of  Barstow Cemetery Board of Trustees who are appointed by San Bernardino District Supervisor Dawn Rowe . The Supervisor solicits applications and appoints members to serve the Barstow Cemetery Board.
