Samia Suluhu Hassan MUST RESIGN

Samia Suluhu Hassan MUST RESIGN
The Issue
President Samia must resign and cede power. Her actions are tyrannical, and here is why:
1. Eviction of the Maasai People: The forceful eviction of the Maasai from their ancestral lands in Ngorongoro and Loliondo, allegedly to benefit the Sultanate of Oman, blatantly violates the rights of the Maasai community. As highlighted by the Institute for Genocide Prevention, this displacement has driven many Maasai into poverty, forcing them into alcoholism and prostitution to survive.
2. Surrender of National Ports: The indefinite transfer of all 58 sea, water, and dry ports of Tanganyika to Dubai-based private company DP World jeopardizes Tanzania’s sovereignty and economic future. This agreement was made without public consultation or regard for its long-term consequences.
3. State Violence Against Civilians: President Samia has weaponized the Tanzania Police Force and military to suppress dissent. Innocent civilians, including women, are arrested, tortured, and even killed during protests. For instance, during Tundu Lissu’s court hearing, police stripped Pendo Jonas naked, Activist Hilda Newton, a mother of an infant, was detained and tortured for days. Dr Hashim Tito is killed. A lot of people who turned up for court hearing were severely beaten.
Tundu Lissu has courageously opposed these injustices. His recent visit to the displaced Maasai was obstructed by police, underscoring the regime’s fear of his leadership. President Samia is not acting alone; shadowy co-dictators enable her tyranny.

Religious Persecution: In a hate speech targeting Christian leaders, President Samia threatened clergy supporting democratic reforms. One bishop, Kitima was in intensive care following state-backed attacks. And Churches are closed down by authorities. (Glory of God ) Samia Suluhu insulted Founder of the Church Mr. Gwajima by calling him devil worshipper.
