Hey Thundercats fans!

If you were like me, you rejoiced at the crash and burn of "Thundercats Roar!" From the art to the silly nature and premise, this show was destined for failure in the eyes of many. It was not the classic show that we all grew up on and loved.

If you are a die-hard fan of the original series, you were super excited to see the 2011 reboot version of the classic show, simply titled "ThunderCats." The show did well because it used a ton of source materials and EVOLVED the characters in such a way that we'd never seen before. We got backstories on classic heroes and villains and even explored the vastness of Third Earth.

Despite being a highly heralded show, it was cancelled after ONE SINGLE SEASON. That was barely enough time to get into the characters and finally see Lion-O mature into his adult form!!!

ThunderCats premiered on July 29, 2011 and attained a rating of 0.8, with over 2.4 million viewers. The highest rated show for that night received a 1.1, which makes the ThunderCats' 0.8 a successful showing.  The premiere episode of ThunderCats received very positive reviews, with some calling it "amazing" and "epic". Brandon Easton, one of the premiere writers of color in comic, television and film even wrote an episode for the show!!!! (WE NEED HIM BACK, TOO!)

Fans brought back Young Justice and it went on to be even more successful. Why can't we do the same for this show? Share this with all of the Thundercats fans you know.
