Russell Smoldon, Manager of State Government Relations, is SRP's representative on ALEC's corporate board. ALEC has written all kinds of "model legislation" including: anti-worker bills, bills reducing corporate liabilities for damages, bills targeting a woman's right to choose and her right to access birth control. draconian bills going after undocumented immigrants, bills designed to privatize multiple industries including the prisons in Arizona, bills attacking access to education, and bills attacking healthcare just to name a few.
