Dream Apartments have been violating their lease by allowing for short term/holiday lets throughout 2021. Allowing for careless and at times dangerous individuals to act with little to no regard of the residents’ wellbeing and safety. 

Dreams guests have been noisy, verbally abusive, violent and dangerous - causing extreme distress, fear and worry to residents. Many instances have involved Dream guests knocking on residents doors, and blasting music at early hours in the morning. Littering communal areas, throwing glass bottles from balconies, and even pulling out a knife on a resident when asked for the noise to be kept down. 

The Salford City Council has received a high number of complaints over the months, and police incidents have occurred. The residents have had enough. This is meant to be strictly a residential development, for long term lets only to professionals. 

Recently, the building management Xenia Estates Services have confirmed that Dream Apartments have been in violation of their lease.

We, the residents demand that Dream Apartments are permanently removed from the Adelphi Wharf development. They have been financially profiting on the residents expense. While it’s been negatively impacting residents’ mental health and livelihood.
